Perks Party

Hi Everyone,

It’s a sunny Spring day in Boise Idaho, and it’s been about a month since my last project update and the end of the campaign. What a month it’s been!

Here is what’s happened in the past month:

Perks Party!! I invited all of Eponym’s contributors to celebrate with me at the Audio Lab, it was great fun. The party gave me the opportunity to meet a lot of my supporters and to see old friends. Thank you to all who made it.  I feel like I am starting off on the right foot with all your love, support and belief in my music at my back! Thank you!

I was super excited to go on tour with my great friend Sean Hatton. Over 4000 miles, 11 states and SO MUCH FUN! We had a handful of great shows and I got to play with Steve Fulton. Yes, there is another one of us out there. We met years ago through My Space via a name mix up, but we have never met in real life until now. It was a great time, although they only put one Steve Fulton on the marquee? Go figure. I played a lot of songs from Eponym and I am so pleased with how they are shaping up.

The drive home was long, with a snow/ice covered mess through Wyoming, we were so happy to see the beautiful rolling hills of Idaho. It was a great time, but it is always nice to be home.

Drums! Bass!  Guitar! OH MY!!! FINALLY, I got to start recording Eponym. The giddy feeling I had on day one is indescribable, getting to work on my own music after 11 years is a gift that I will be forever grateful for. Dave Goff (drums), Tim Willis (guitar) and Scot Alexander (bass) spent this past weekend at Audio Lab with me. They ROCKED the house! We were able to lay down three tracks and I couldn’t be more pleased with how they are turning out. Love my band!! Engineer Pat Storey was there too of course, my secret weapon! It was exhausting, but we are revved up and ready for more. I am working hard to stay on track and get Eponym out into the world.

Rest assured that I am working away and excited to share as we go along! Please let me know if you have any questions, I’d love to hear from you.

Thank you all for your continuing support!!

Steve
