Love, Boise raises 10K!

Fulton & Hunt were thrilled to be asked to perform at the Love, Boise event organized by Boise Rock School. We were even more thrilled to find out the event raised over $10,000 for the International Rescue Committee to benefit the victims of this horrible tragedy. What an amazing community we live in.

Love, Boise

I am honored to play this event and am so happy to be able to help in any way. Thanks to Boise Rock School for putting this together. I hope to see loads of friends there, our community is so strong and together we can make a huge difference.
In reaction to the violence that occurred 2 weeks ago, Boise Rock School planned a fundraising event to help raise money for families that were affected.
This event is very short notice, but it will be very awesome. 100% proceeds will be given to the International Rescue Committee. While they are not the only organization supporting the Wylie residents, they have taken the lead on paying for necessary services, particularly medical bills, housing and child care to families who’s injuries have made child care particularly challenging.

Surel's Place House Concert

This is a very important show to me. It benefits Surel's Place, the home of the late, great Surel Mitchell a long time Boise resident and artist who gave time and time again to the community through her art and by supporting artists of ALL disciplines. Her home is now an artist's residency, housing retreats multiples times a year for artists from all over the country. I couldn't be more honored to play here and help further her mission of giving artists a safe place to create. I have asked some very talented friends to join me, it's going to be a special night, hope to see you there!

Fulton & Hunt supporting Eilen Jewell

I am so thrilled to be opening this show, what a great night this is going to be. Working with Eilen and her band on this album was a treat and to add my own music to the mix is exciting!! Grab your tickets here.

Known for what allmusic.com describes as a country-flavored and blues-infused version of contemporary folk (which also can include healthy doses of rockabilly and surf), Jewells discography includes several albums of original material and one of Loretta Lynn covers. Jewell has also recorded two albums with her eight-piece gospel-group side project the Sacred Shakers. But this latest effort, which she and Beek co-produced, with engineering by pianist/banjo player Steve Fulton and Pat Storey, is her first collection of blues despite the fact that she credits the genre for igniting her musical curiosity in the first place.

Thats because, even though shes dreamed of recording a blues album since discovering Howlin Wolf as a Boise, Idaho, teen, Jewell had to convince herself she could  and should.
